Back again

The trip back to Ashraf from Baghdad yesterday afternoon was safe. While the trip down was early and traffic was non-existent, it was much different on the way back (especially in town). The traffic was backed up at most intersections, and the traffic lights either don't work or are turned off. Fortunately, most people get out of our way which makes things easier. Of course, a very large and heavy Humvee will beat out most local cars so the law of gross tonnage applies here!

We accomplished more vehicle and system inventories today despite the blazing sun (at least 110 degrees in the shade at 10 AM), and were able to test some systems, too. Over the last week we've covered most of the FOB, so it'll be ones and twos here and there to finish up that work.
