Fresh from the WTF file: award-winning sports writing

Begin sarcasm here. The award for sports writer of the year goes to Associated Press sports writer Jeff Latzke. In writing about Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson's season-ending collarbone injury, Latzke wrote:
Peterson was injured on his last carry of the game...
If you suffer a season-ending injury on a play, it will be by default your last play or carry of the game. Duh!
