Mark Martin leaving Roush for MB2

From Yahoo Sports:
The longtime NASCAR star, contemplating retirement from the Nextel Cup series for the past two years, will instead leave Roush Racing at the end of this season to drive a partial Cup schedule for MB2 Motorsports in 2007.
Martin will share the ride in the No. 01 Chevrolet with rookie Regan Smith, a 23-year-old regular in the Busch Series, according to the source. The number of races each will drive was one of the details still being worked out.
And what about the possibility of Mark racing trucks next year?
The source said it was unclear if Martin might also drive in the truck series in 2007, along with the MB2 ride.
It will be sad to see Mark leave Roush Racing, where he has been since 1988. Those types of long-term relationships just don't last in sports these days. Hopefully Jack Roush will work out a deal for the truck series. Given his success in limited truck racing this year, I'd be disappointed if Mark didn't run the Craftsman Truck Series full time next year. He'd be an immediate contender for the Championship.
