Quotes of the day

Senator John Kerry, from this previous post:
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
I'll be honest; I do believe that Kerry was trying to attack Bush, and not American soldiers. However, it was either very poorly written, or came out wrong. Either way, it really doesn't matter what Kerry thinks he meant, it only matters what people think he said. In this case, perception is reality. And with veterans groups and many others calling for apologies, John Kerry stuck his foot in his mouth.

An unnamed Democratic congressman replied:
"I guess Kerry wasn't content blowing 2004, now he wants to blow 2006, too."
Classic! The Democrats are imploding.
